Dans le cadre de la cosntruction de la navette ferroviaire de l'aéroport Trudeau, Via prévoit construire une nouvelle gare à Dorval, avec des quais en ilots, ce qui permettrait à 2 trains de s'y arrêter en même temps.

L'Institut Vanier de la famille (quelqu'un les connait?) explore la relation entre l'urbanisation et l'enfant et a émis un document intitulé "l'enfant et la ville: aménager pour grandir ensemble" rédigé par un professeur d'urbanisme de l'Université de Montréal.

Dans les "opinions" des lecteurs de La Presse, un ingénieur souligne avec justesse que l'imposition du péage aux ponts entourant Montréal pourrait être nuisible aux montréalais eux-mêmes.

    We don't know what the tolls will be like, but what difference would a 3$ toll make to a truck carrying a tonne of tomatoes?

    Gas prices had a totally different effect because the costs rose exponentially depending on distance.

    Yes, students and other workers use the roads as well.... and they should pay for using them, or use public transit.

    Tourism.... what would a 3$ toll do to a tourist coming to Montreal from Toronto, Quebec or New York. Most wouldn't even know there was a toll, and they are not likely to turn around once they get to the toll section.

    And about the unwanted traffic on side streets: most of the talk has been about bridge tolls. There are no "small side bridges" to take.
